Donald Foster

Donald Richard Foster, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on February 15th 2019 at his home in Prineville Oregon. Cause of death is unknown at this time. 

Memorial Services/Celebration of Life will be held on March 24th at 3:00pm, Prineville Adventist Church, 1600 S Main St., Prineville OR 97754, Officiated by Pastor Marion Miller. 

Don was born on February 16th 1955, in Bend Oregon.  He is a 1974 Graduate of Bend Senior High School.

In Don’s younger years of adult life, he worked at Bend Millwork for a number of years.  Don worked as a Security Officer for 8 years at Luzan Security out of Prineville.  Don worked at Grocery Outlet in Prineville for 11 years as Custodian. 

Don was an active member of Prineville Adventist Church since 2008. 

Don is survived by his father Donald C. Foster of Metolius Oregon, sister Laura L. Salisbury of Tigard Oregon, brother Steve Foster of Carlisle Pennsylvania, brother Robert Butterfield of Tillamook Oregon, sister DeAnn Jahnke of Springfield Oregon and sister Jody Butterfield of Portland Oregon.  Don leaves behind 7 nieces and 3 nephews. 

Don spent many years of his life being a musician.  He loved playing drums and enjoyed occasional singing.  Don’s favorite pastime was studying Astronomy.  He thrived on anything to do with space and was a wealth of knowledge. 

Don was a kind man. Don will be missed and remembered by many.
