Dennis Adams of Prineville passed away December 9, 2018. Dennis was born in Middletown, Ohio to Arthur and Geneva (Broughton) Adams January 2, 1949.
There will be Memorial service at Prineville Funeral Home “Heritage Chapel” Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 2:00PM.
Dennis was a 1967 graduate of Crook County High School. He then worked as a Ford Mechanic for 20 years, and 30 years as a hyster mechanic.
He loved fishing, camping, tinkering on things around the house, and spending time with his grandkids.
He just celebrated 50 years of marriage this year, with his wife, Judy. Dennis’ favorite place to go was the Ochoco’s where he spent hundreds of weekends riding his Ranger and spending time around the campfire, telling stories about the good old days with his numerous family and friends. He absolutely loved his grandkids, great grandchild and all his nieces and nephews, they all gave him so much joy. He lived 65 years in Prineville, where he made hundreds of lifelong friends.
Survivors: His father, Arthur Adams, his wife, Judy Adams, his daughter and son-in-law, Corey and Marcie Kovash, his grandkids, Tyler Sweider and Emilee Sweider, his great-granddaughter, Raegan Sweider, his sister and brother in law, Kirby and Norma Kilian, his sister and brother in law, Marlyn and Carolyn Younger, his twin brother and sister in law, Denver and Carolyn Adams, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Adams.
