May 31, 1998 ~ July 27, 2018
David Vandor Thompson left his family behind due to a car accident on July 27, 2018, in Prineville.
David came into this world on May 31, 1998, in Prineville. His parents are Rick and Cheree Thompson and Mindy Hill. He grew up in Prineville and graduated from Crook County High School with the class of 2017.
He was employed by Thompson Electric LLC and enjoyed working with his dad and his brother, John.
David was a wonderful young man who was taught to love the Lord, to love and respect his family, to speak up for the “underdog,” and to love and defend those things he strongly believed. He was a person that had a Christ-like love for everyone.
He was in inquisitive young man, always wanting to know, “What makes this work?” He loved to weld, help his dad wire houses and to work with his grandpa Ron on mechanical things. He made the darndest things for those he loved. Each of us were the beneficiary of those things he made. He was a great lover of tacos.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rodger Hyser; his great-grandmother, Ruby Romanesehi; and his great-grandparents Van and Bernice Thompson and Frank and Adrienne Alexander.
He is survived by his parents, Rick and Cheree Thompson and Mindy Hill; siblings, Mike (Michelle) Thompson, Amanda (Andy) Reed, John (Suzann)Thompson, Cyndel Mix, Kim (Tanner) Weston, of Canby, Aneisha (Jacob) Sheridan, Cheyenne Thompson, of St. George, Utah, and Brogan Thompson; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces; grandparents, Ron and JoAnne Thompson, Mary Hyser, Rose Marquiss and Willy Warren, of Monroe, Washington.
