David B Flowers

David “Brad” Flowers born September 12, 1938. In Aitkin, Minnesota to David and Elsie Flowers. Brad passed away August 1, 2017 in Bend, Oregon at St. Charles Hospital.
There's going to be a memorial service for Brad September 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Our Savior Lutheran church here in Prineville.
In 1961 Brad met Nancy Carol Bolf and they were married a year later. Brad was in the US Army at the time so they spent their first year in Hawaii. Upon Completing his time in the Army, they returned to Portland and worked for a major oil company; where they were transferred up and down the West Coast several times. Brad decided to return to the Portland area where he began  his own business in Gresham, they stayed in Gresham area for 27 years raising three children and becoming very involved in the community. In 2002, Brad and Nancy retired and moved to Central Oregon where they had vacation many, many times.
Brad was survived by his wife Nancy of 55 years, Mother Elsie; son Dwayne of Troutdale (Kim); daughter Susan of Mesa Arizona (Mike); daughter Kim of Redmond Oregon (Dave) they have eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Brad was preceded in death by his father Dave and sister Ann.
