Connie was born February 15, 1930, at Forest Gate, in London, England. Her proud and happy parents were George and Mable Page.
As a child, Connie lived through WWll, and survived the London bombings, and eventually was evacuated to the English countryside.
She met Burl Atkinson, who was serving in the United States Airforce, in 1955, and in October of 1957, they were married. Together, they were blessed with one son, Jody Atkinson, in November of 1958. As life goes, they were divorced in 1984.
Connie married James O. Ellis in August of 1991. Sometimes life throws you a curve ball, and James passed away in, March of 1992.
Connie enjoyed Christian fellowship, loved God, and took pleasure in tending her flower garden. Connie was an avid reader of the Bible, archeology, history, anthropology, as well as, many other interests.
Connie loved her son very much, and she really enjoyed his company. She also loved to care for her friends and holding them up in prayer when it was needed.
Connie’s life work included caring for the sick and elderly as a CNA and working at the United States Forest Service. She really enjoyed these jobs and the people who surrounded her. She retired from the Forest Service after 10 years. Connie became very active with New Life Bible Chapel for the remainder of her life. Connie volunteered in a local soup kitchen, and throughout her life she was always present to serve the needy.
There will be a Celebration of Connie’s life at 11:00 am, on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 1200 NE Ochoco Ave. Prineville, OR 97754.
