Austin Wade Ferris

Austin Wade Ferris, 19, Prineville, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019. Austin was born on November 12, 1999 in Redmond, Oregon to Jeffery Ferris and Jodie McWhorter.

There will be a celebration of life held at the 4H clover building, 498 N. West Lynn Blvd. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 3 PM.

Austin was a 2018 graduate of Crook County High School. He worked for IGA, grocery store, as a cashier. Ashton enjoyed hanging out with his friends, gaming, fishing and camping. He had a smile that lit up the room and enjoyed making people smile. He had a huge and compassionate heart, and always took the time to reach out to anyone he thought needed a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen.

He will be greatly missed as his laughter and personality uplifted many people within his life as well as the community.

Austin is survived by his parents, Jeff Ferris and Jodi McWhorter, his brother, Shawn Ferris grandparents Carolyn Keller and Bill and Julie Ferris cousins Zane Peterson, Ayvah Wolfe, Titus, Orin, and Ivan Bierly, Emily Johnson, Christian Brown.

Girlfriend Kerri Cossa, Best Friends Ryland Holland, Isaac Massey, Adonis Stone and Tyler Fioravanti. Numerous aunts, uncles and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his great grandfathers.
