Merle Fox, at 102, he had a good “run”
Merle Fox was born & raised in central Oregon to Miles and Florence Fox On February 17, 1914. He had 5 brothers, Earl, Purl, Dee, Don and Vernon and one sister, Wanita.
Merle was a cowboy inside & out. His family raised cattle when he was growing up. He had many stories to tell about his childhood and his cattle driving days.
Merle loved hunting, fishing & gardening. He was fun-loving and really enjoyed spending time with his family.
In 1943 he married Evelyn Dill. They had 3 children, Bob, Jo and Roy.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, all of his siblings, son-in-law Don Barber and granddaughter Susie Cearns.
He is survived by his son Bob & wife Carol, daughter Jo and son Roy & wife Linda. Also surviving are his 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 8 great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Merle Fox was a dear man who loved and was loved by many.
