What an amazing lady! Peg belonged to the Widows Club and I was invited to one of their gatherings along, with my mom at Peg' s beautiful home along the bank of the reservoir.
I felt honored to be included. I especially enjoyed witnessing the love and friendship these ladies shared. A true "extended family" to one and all.
Peg and I had many a discussion over the years about politics, life and our faith. She and I were in sync on so many of the topics we discussed. What an inspiration and role model she was. I know that
my mom and many of other widows were standing at the golden gate, arms reaching out to welcome Peg.
Peg may be gone, but her values and opinions will always hold a dear place in my heart. Am so honored to have been called her friend!
