Linda L (Emhoff) LaFon

Linda Lee LaFon was born August 21, 1947 in Fresno California to parents Edward Emhoff and Louise Johnson Emhoff. Linda passed away July 16, 2016 in Prineville Oregon after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda attended Crook County High School; after attending high school Linda married Donald LaFon, Linda worked many jobs including taxi driver, fence builder, millworker, but she took the most pride and enjoyment in being a wonderful mother. Some of her hobbies included fishing, camping, reading and again spending time with her family and friends. Some of her greatest life accomplishments were raising her three wonderful children she also took a lot of pride in taking care of her wonderful husband until he passed away in 1974. Linda is survived by four sisters Barb, Sue, Lee and Marchann and three children; Michael Shane LaFon (Christina) Machelle Marie Carter (Danielle) and Donita Lafon (Chris). She's also survived by eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her father Edward Emhoff in 1980 her mother Louise Emhoff into 2014 and her husband Donald Lafon in 1974. The family will be doing a celebration of life service August 21, 2016 a day to celebrate
