James (Jaime) Carl Gillmor Jr.
It is with great sadness that the family of James (Jaime) Carl Gillmor Jr. announces his passing on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the age of 60. Jaime was born February 23, 1958 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He will be remembered for his intelligence, his quick wit, hilarious dry sense of humor, his care for his family, and his generous heart. Jaime attended Crook County High School and then served in the U.S. Navy as a torpedoman on the USS Puget Sound. He later worked many years at Siltek, (computer microchip factory), in Salem Oregon where he designed, built and operated crystal grow rooms. After moving back to Prineville he married the love of his life Linda, who preceded him in death in 2010. In Jaime’s free time he built computers and hung out with his longtime best buddy Robert Cordes.
Jaime is survived by his mother Rose Gillmor, sisters Nikki (Bob) Velock and Melodie (Zack) Sleger, best friend Robert Cordes, nephews Ian Gillmor, Christopher Cork, Timothy Cork, niece Kamryn Sleger, many grand nieces and nephews, and his faithful little dog, Pixie. He is preceded in death by his wife Linda, father James Sr. (Jim), and very loved pets; Jessie, Ling Ling, and Tinkerbell.
Memorial service with military honors is this Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Prineville Funeral Home. Everyone is welcome.
