Douglas Lee Snyder, age 83, passed away on January 11, 2018 at home in Powell Butte with his wife of 40 years, Nancy Snyder.
Born December 9, 1934 in Youngstown Ohio to Gladys and Clarence Snyder. Douglas grew up in Nashville Ohio and served 2 years in the Army 1956-1958. He worked several years as a Teamster on the Alaska Pipeline. Douglas loved Piloting and airplane, Hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gladys and Clarence; brothers-in-law Frank and Paul, and son David. He is survived by his sister, Marjorie, of Everett, WA; sister Jean of Mt. Vernon, WA. Wife, Nancy, Powell Butte, OR; daughter Jennifer of Redmond, OR; sons Chris of Hereford, AZ; Daniel of Powell Butte, OR; David of Monroe, Tennessee; Sam of Florida including several grandchildren and great grandchildren who he loved with all his heart.
