Donald “Don” Lee Smith
Was born June 11, 1934 to Leonard and Doris Smith of Salinas California. Don left his earthly body on December 10, 2017 and entered into the arms of his loving Savior.
Don was a man of many hats but one calling. Don may not have always been an employed Minister of the Gospel but he was always a Pastor at heart; regardless of where his finances came from; his needs were always met by his Savior. Don was never one to back away from a challenge he took them on as he took life on with gusto and vigor.
Don’s first wife Eleanor, the Mother of his five children died in 1986; he was blessed to find and marry Anna Jean Smith and her two sons P. David Pierce and Mitchell Adam Pierce, together with his children they made a happy life together until he passed.
Don was preceded in death by his Mother; Doris and Father Leonard; Three siblings Leonard, Wallace, and Kenneth; Daughter Tamar Lanine Mendoza. Don is survived by his loving wife Anna his children Evan Christian, Stacy Owen, Mark Nolan and Regina Lee Smith whom combined gave him 9 grandchildren. Also, he is survived by Anna’s two boys P. David and Mitchell Adam Pierce.
There will be a celebration of Don’s life Monday December 18th at 11:00 AM at the Prineville Praise and Worship Center on 405 NW 9th Street in Prineville.
