Donald Earl Barber, a resident of Prineville, Oregon, passed away in his home, on August 16th 2015. A celebration of his life will be Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Prineville Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Jeremy Page & Ridgley Adams will be presiding.
Donald was born on October 12th, 1944 in Prineville, Oregon to Lester Barber and Dorothy Merritt He attended Crook County High School. He worked at a machine shop, a saw shop, Woodgrain Mill, and did logging.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering on various projects. He raised four children and enjoyed new adventures with kettle corn.
Donald is survived by his wife Josephine; sons Bryan Barber (Tonia), Cody Chapman, Todd Chapman (Tena), and daughter Lora Barber; brother Robert Barber (Sherry); and sister Pat Ehlers (Lewis). 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Eleanor Barber; brother William Barber; and grandparents Edward and Kathryn.
