Darley Kaye Stevens

 

Kaye was born May 29, 1958 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Willie and Doris Stevens.

 

Kaye attended Runnelstown High School in Mississippi.  She worked as a waitress, before becoming disabled.  Kaye was known by friends and family as being a very humble and kind person.  She was an avid reader, especially of mystery novels.  Kaye's hobbies included collecting items that she found of interest and value to her.  She was of the Baptist faith.

 

Kaye is survived by her daughter, Hope (James) Griffin of Ellisville, Mississippi; her sister Carol Stevens of Richton, Mississippi; her brother Kenneth Stevens of Richton, Mississippi; her sister Teddy (Jerry Lee) Hinton of New Augusta, Mississippi; her brother Royce Stevens of Richton, Mississippi, and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Kaye was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Doris Stevens; and her brothers Robert Stevens, David Earl Stevens, and Walter Stevens.
