Chaz Michael Evans passed away on July 18th 2015 in Bend, Oregon. He was 22 years of age. A Celebration of Chaz’s Life will be Saturday, July 25th 2015 at 2:00 PM at the home of his parents, Rich and Deanna Evans, 3010 NE Barnes Road, Prineville, Oregon 97754. The family has trusted these arrangements to the care of Prineville Funeral Home.
Chaz was born July 14th 1993 in Redmond, Oregon. He graduated from Redmond Proficiency Academy in 2011.
He worked as a wildland firefighter, at C&A Cutstock, Woodgrain Millwork, and finally Day Springs Hardwood, a job he loved and excelled at.
He enjoyed the outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, and driving in the woods, getting stuck on Pisgah.
Chaz was known to be kind, loving, and helpful to anyone he met. Folks always knew him for his smile, sense of humor, and his infamous red beard.
Chaz is survived by his parents, Rich and Deanna Evans; siblings Lexi Finley (Jeff); grandparents Dennis and Elaine Evans, and John and Evelyn Neasham; Aunts Kim Espedal (Eric), Kelly Singhose (Travis); Uncle Jeff Neasham (Linda); 12 cousins, 1 nephew, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Wendell and Shirley Neasham, Glen Bates, Robert and Hazel Kirkwoods, and Bus and Clara Evans.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Mid Oregon Federal Credit Union in memory of Chaz Evans.
