Barbara Jean Alderman Sharpf passed away on February 4, 2016. She was the daughter of Mary and Reuben Fite, and was born in Prineville, Oregon, on August 9, 1942. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, Charles. She is survived by her husband, Larry, and her four children.She married Arlon Alderman and had four children, Mindelin Alderman, Shelly France, Dustin Alderman, and Darren Alderman. They divorced, and years later, she married Larry K. Sharpf. They resided in Salem and Bend, Oregon, and for the past twenty years in Vancouver, Washington.Barbara was a very successful entrepreneur. Initially, as an interior decorator, then to selling real estate, along with property development and management. During her marriage to Larry, she successfully started two businesses.Funeral arrangements have been made to celebrate Barb's life at the Prineville Funeral Home, Prineville, Oregon, on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Alzheimers Association.
